RESIST: DACA; MUSLIM BAN;
TAKE A KNEE; TULE LAKE

O NEW
Call to Action:
Stop the Fence at Tule Lake - Rafu Shimpo

Sign the Petition - Deadline 10/10/17 at 5 PM

Here's everything you need to do and what to say in email to Modoc County by 10/10

"In the past year, the Tule Lake Committee
participated in talks with Modoc County, the FAA,
other... agencies and local reps, hoping to
promote understanding of the historic site's
significance... Seeking a long-term solution... of
preserving an irreplaceable historic site, we raised
the issue of moving Tulelake airport... It was
clear to all interested that a small airport can be
moved. It is not possible to move an historic site."
Ed Note: The airport has one runway, no control
tower, is primarily used by crop dusting and
private planes, has no scheduled flight service.

OP ED: WANG A/AC RACISM

Please click here to read the letter Asian and Asian American club Presidents sent to President Stanley expressing their opposition to the Toll Drive dorms and asking to meet with him to discuss it. He ignored them.

Then-student Melani Tiongson said the dorms were "like a slap in the face to my culture" and reminiscent of the days when people of color like her were "shafted for the benefit of something allegedly 'greater.'"

On this vast campus where 6-story dorms could have been built in many empty spaces, instead, an all-White building committee, never thinking of the consequences, chose directly behind Wang AAC.
