All of the performances at this ceremony will be Stony Brook students, or groups that contain students, to show the vast array of talent that the University has in its student population.

PROGRAM

ORIGAMI CRANES
JCA, the undergraduate Japanese Cultural Association, made a huge origami crane with a 6 foot wingspan and 1022 small cranes, equal to the date of the opening, that will be on display.  There is an origami crane workshop the entire time for visitors to make their own cranes, or to add to the display.    Located on the 3rd and 4th floors.

In traditional bridal dress, parts of Chinese, Filipino, Guyanese Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese weddings will be enacted – from tea ceremonies to ancestor prayers.
