ALL THE THINGS WE MISSED

Some semesters the Zine sucks. This was one. Editor-in-Chief needed a real job so his free time disappeared. Unlike Statesman, no one gets stipends, so we were like the Press and came out whenever. Too many pre-med and photographers on staff. Of the 5 people who can really write, 2 became RA's because they needed money and that meant their free time was gone too. 2 met new mates and became worthless. The Honors College premed double major gave up writing for bureaucracy. Webmaster had 3 computers die in one month. Even videos were a bitch until our genius E-i-C played with the budget to find bucks to buy a terabyte of space. So here are some stories we missed. Maybe next semester we will find the only 2 APA English majors on campus!
Hmm, are there that many?

KEEPING SBU AFLOAT

In December the first inhabited island to be lost to rising sea levels left 10,000 Indians homeless.

In December polar bears officially became endangered species. Global warming melting sea ice is destroying their ability to find food.
