SPRING 2007

SBU AA E-ZINE RETURNS

WITH AAJ: ASIAN AMERICAN JOURNAL

Fall / Winter
2006-2007 issue of
AAJ
Asian American Journal

The motley Zine crew were not all on sabbatical as we said last issue. Some literally spent nights sleeping in the office doing the AAJ Fall / Winter 2006-2007 issue. It has gone to the printer and this Zine issue has it online - sort of. The joys of Microsoft programs, they all have glitches. When a Publisher document is converted for the web, not all formatting is saved. So this online version is NOT what it looks like in print! We are looking for an alternative besides pdf's. Why, you are thinking, do you use MS? The University has a contract with MS so Publisher is installed on every sinc site computer. Other publishing programs are too expensive. It is like the campus' exclusive contract with Coke - we end up supporting a monopoly we should not!
